Daylily
NewA journal where AI asks, but never writes

One page a day.
Yours to keep.

Daylily asks how your day was, then gets out of the way. Write it in your own words. At midnight the page seals, and a flower grows.

The long way home

I took the long way home today. Nothing dramatic, just the turn by the park instead of the station. The daylilies along the fence were still open even though the light was going.

Called Sam on the walk. We talked about almost nothing, her noisy neighbour, a book neither of us has finished.

I think I needed that more than advice.

No autocomplete. No rewrites. No summaries poured into your page. Typos, half-thoughts and broken grammar all count, because they’re true.

How it works

Made like a paper journal.

Ghost prompts

Pause, and a quiet question fades in where your cursor rests. You can’t accept it or tab it in. It vanishes the moment you type.

Work was loud again. I kept my head down and finished the report, but by four I could feel it in my shoulders.

I left early.

Sealed at midnight

Today is the only page you can write. Yesterday stays honest, like ink.

On my way

Missed the 8:12 and waited with a coffee that was too hot to drink. Watched the platform empty and fill again. Strange how calm…

AI is off until you say so

Turn features on one at a time, with your own key or a local model. It can ask and answer. It never writes.

The garden

Every day you write
plants a flower.

Missed days stay bare soil. Nothing wilts, no streaks break, and coming back is always welcome.

The calendar

A photo album
of your life.

Each day keeps a title and one cover, painted from its words only when you ask, or a photo of your own. Scroll back and remember how it looked.
